Our client is a specialist company providing powered access equipment hire across the South West of England. They offer a wide range of machinery such as cherry pickers, scissor lifts, boom lifts, telehandlers, spider lifts, and ultra booms for construction and industrial projects. The company also provides site surveys, qualified operators, and engineering support to ensure customers receive the most suitable and safe access solutions. As part of the Access Link network and an IPAF Rental+ accredited company, they deliver nationwide coverage while maintaining high standards in safety, training, and customer service.
Location: Near Truro, Cornwall.
Hours: 8:00‑5:00, Monday‑Friday.
Salary: Up to £40,000 depending on experience.
Holiday: 28 days including bank holidays.

Position Duties- Servicing, inspection, maintenance and repair of equipment including scissor lifts, boom lifts, telehandlers, static booms and ultra booms.
- Ensure high level safety and performance standards while in post for all equipment.
- Update and maintain accurate records of servicing and maintenance.
- Fault find and diagnostics of power access equipment.
- Read and understand drawings and instructions.
- Complete new equipment training as necessary.
- IPAF qualification essential along with CAP qualification.
- Background in servicing and maintenance of powered access equipment or similar equipment.
- Electrical and hydraulic experience.
- Ability to prioritise work to minimise downtime and align with demand.
- Full driving licence.
- Reliable commute to the Cornwall depot daily.
- Strong teamwork skills, proactive attitude, and ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
- Salary up to £40,000 depending on experience.
- Regular working hours, Monday to Friday with some flexibility available to the right candidate.
- 20 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays.
- Company pension scheme.
