Overview
We are seeking a high-quality, experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage a range of projects for a major client, primarily London based. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent time management skills, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes. This role is crucial in ensuring that the project is completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
Duties
- Lead and manage all elements of the project, including H&S (RAMS/site documentation), resource planning, and subcontractor co-ordination.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications and all commercial milestones are met.
- Monitor project progress and performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and any potential issues.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in managing a wide scope of construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of CDM and best practices.
- Proficiency in using recognised project management software.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen required.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive results.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field are preferred but not mandatory.
