Warehouse Operative Required! Our client is a family-owned business, trading for over 30 years, and is a leading manufacturer and distributor of windows and door hardware. We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Warehouse Operative to join their team. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for picking and packing products ready for dispatch, and any other miscellaneous tasks on a temp to perm contract.

Package:

  • Working hours are Monday-Friday 9am - 5pm
  • Salary £23,000 - £25,000
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Company pension scheme
  • Temp to perm contract

Warehouse Operative - Responsibilities:

  • Picking and packing of customer sales orders
  • Labelling of customer orders
  • Paint mixing machine use and maintenance (after training)
  • Warehouse stock replenishment
  • Participating in stocktakes and rolling stock checks
  • Assisting with goods-In
  • Manual handling. Some heavy lifting involved
  • Loading & unloading deliveries
  • Working as part of a team
  • General housekeeping

Warehouse Operative - Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
  • Ability to perform manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and packing
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Forklift license is advantageous
