Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of the commercial management of multiple projects from pre-construction through to final delivery.
Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, the successful candidate will play a key role in driving project success, ensuring strong financial control and adding value across a range of high-profile schemes. Quantity Surveyor - Position Remuneration
- Salary of £60,000 - £70,000 depending on experience
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and birthday off

Quantity Surveyor - Position Overview
- Take ownership of the commercial management and financial performance of multiple construction projects
- Manage projects from pre-construction stages through to completion and final account
- Act as the commercial lead, ensuring effective cost control, reporting and financial governance
- Work closely with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers and external clients to support successful project delivery
- Monitor project costs, budgets and commercial performance to maximise profitability
- Prepare and review project valuations, variations, cost reports and financial forecasts
- Support contract administration and commercial decision-making throughout the project lifecycle
- Identify commercial risks and implement effective mitigation strategies
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing commercial guidance and support
- Contribute to a collaborative and high-performing team environment
- Ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed budgets, programmes and company standards
Quantity Surveyor - Position Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry
- Previous experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience acting as a commercial lead is essential
- Degree-qualified with a minimum of 4 years' relevant experience, or non-degree qualified with at least 7 years' relevant experience
- Strong commercial awareness with excellent understanding of cost control and project financial management
- Highly organised with a methodical approach and strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively to deadlines
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and internal teams
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle due to regional travel requirements
