Our client, a well-established construction, interiors, and fit-out company, is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join their team and take full commercial responsibility for fast-track retail and leisure fit-out projects from pre-construction through to final account settlement.

This is a turnkey commercial role suited to a commercially astute professional capable of managing the full financial lifecycle of projects while working closely with operational teams in a fast-paced fit-out environment.

  • Managing projects commercially from estimating and tender stage through to final account agreement
  • Full subcontractor procurement and commercial management
  • Cost planning, forecasting, valuations and reporting throughout the project lifecycle
  • Identifying and managing commercial risk and opportunity
  • Working collaboratively with project delivery teams to ensure commercial and operational success
  • Producing and presenting accurate financial reports to senior management
  • Ensuring projects are delivered within budget while maintaining margin performance
  • Taking full financial control and ownership of multiple fit-out projects simultaneously

Position Remuneration:

  • Monday to Friday - 8:00 - 17:00
  • 22 days basic holiday + Bank Holidays + increasing allocation with service
  • Fully expensed electric car inc private mileage or car allowance
  • Phone/Laptop
  • After 12 months MHD health Insurance worth circa £2K + Death in Service Policy
  • After 12 months you'll become a member of the Employee Ownership which comes with tax free bonus on a sliding scale based on salary/service

Position Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor role within the retail and/or leisure fit-out sector
  • Strong knowledge of fast-track fit-out projects and the commercial challenges associated with live environments
  • Experience managing projects from pre-construction through to final account
  • Strong contractual and financial management capability
  • Confident communicator capable of building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal teams
