Our clients are an ambitious and fast-growing Freight business with big-firm goals while proudly maintaining small-firm, family-focused values. Following continued expansion and a move to a much larger premises, they are now seeking a Transport Planner - Night shift to join their Operations team. Working a four-on/four-off pattern (7pm - 7am), you will play a vital role as the link between the day and night operations. This is a crossover shift, where you will take ownership of the nightly plan while also supporting the planning of the following day's activities. You will ensure smooth execution throughout the shift, managing any challenges that arise, and handing over a clear, detailed brief to the incoming Day Shift Supervisor. Every shift presents new challenges, requiring quick thinking, strong communication, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys problem-solving to keep operations running smoothly.

Position Remuneration

  • Shift Pattern: Four-on/four-off, 7pm-7am
  • Salary: £38,500 - £40,000 (DOE) with realistic earning potential of £44,000 through overtime, holiday cover and additional shifts
  • Location: Slough
