About the Role
We are looking for a Mobile Forklift Engineer to join a well-established materials handling business. This is a predominantly mobile position, attending customer sites to service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and warehouse equipment. There may also be occasional workshop-based work when required. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Forklift Engineer, although candidates with a strong mechanical background from industries such as plant, HGV, agricultural or construction equipment will also be considered. Full on-the-job training is available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and material handling equipment.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs.
- Complete service reports and relevant job documentation accurately.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service while working on client sites.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.
- Assist with workshop-based repairs and servicing when required.
