We are working with a well-established Accident Repair Centre in Whitstable who are looking to recruit an experienced Panel Beater to join their skilled bodyshop team. This is a hands-on role suited to a high-quality repairer with strong structural and jig experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out all aspects of panel beating, from light to heavy accident damage
- Undertake structural repairs, including chassis alignment and jig work
- Perform bonding, welding, and riveting to manufacturer and industry standards
- Strip and refit vehicle panels and components as required
- Accurately assess vehicle damage and determine repair methods
- Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards
- Work efficiently to meet job deadlines while maintaining high-quality workmanship
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Panel Beater within an accident repair/bodyshop environment
- Confident working on all panels and structural repairs
- Strong jig alignment experience
- Competent in bonding, welding, and riveting techniques
- Ability to work on modern vehicles and mixed manufacturer repair methods
- High attention to detail and pride in quality of work
- ATA / NVQ qualifications desirable but not essential (experience is key)
