Workshop Supervisor Required! On behalf of our client, we are looking to recruit an experienced Workshop Supervisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking a hands-on leadership role within the workshop, ensuring the efficient build, repair, refurbishment, and preparation of equipment.

25 days holiday + bank holidays ~ Company pension scheme ~ Early finish Fridays ~ Working hours Monday - Thursday 8am till 5pm and Fridays 8am till 1pm

Workshop Supervisor - Responsibilities:
  • Actively participate in workshop activities including assembly, rework and testing of equipment
  • Supervise and support workshop engineers on a day-to-day basis, providing hands-on guidance and technical support
  • Support the Production Manager with workload prioritisation, coordination, and planning of upcoming projects
  • Ensure all work is completed to specification, on time, and to required quality standards
  • Ensure compliance with company quality standards and requirements
  • Maintain strict adherence to health & safety procedures across all workshop activities
  • Carry out and oversee quality inspections and checks
  • Coordinate effectively with engineering, service, and production teams to meet deadlines
  • Attend production meetings, providing clear updates on project status, progress, and potential delays
Workshop Supervisor - Requirements:
  • Previous supervisory or foreman experience in a workshop or production environment
  • Strong experience in mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly and build environments, including pipework assembly, brazing, and soldering, working on small to large scale equipment with BoMs ranging from 70 to 300+ components.
