Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:30 Salary: £17.00 - £20.00 per hour (DOE) About the Role We are looking for a Mobile Forklift Engineer to join a well-established materials handling business.

This is a predominantly mobile position, attending customer sites to service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and warehouse equipment.

There may also be occasional workshop-based work when required.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Forklift Engineer, although candidates with a strong mechanical background from industries such as plant, HGV, agricultural or construction equipment will also be considered.

Full on-the-job training is available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities Service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and material handling equipment.

Diagnose and rectify mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.

Carry out planned preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs.

Complete service reports and relevant job documentation accurately.

Deliver a high standard of customer service while working on client sites.

Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.

Assist with workshop-based repairs and servicing when required.

Skills & Experience Required Previous experience as a Forklift Engineer is highly desirable.

Engineers from plant, agricultural, HGV, automotive or similar mechanical backgrounds will also be considered.

Strong mechanical and fault-finding skills.

Basic electrical and hydraulic knowledge.

Full UK Driving Licence (essential).

Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.

Able to work independently and manage a mobile workload.

Benefits Competitive salary of £17.00 - £20.00 per hour depending on experience.

Monday - Friday working hours (08:00 - 16:30).

Overtime available.
