An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled and experienced HGV Technician / Mechanic to join a well-established transport operation at their Keynsham depot. This is a night shift position offering flexible shift patterns and start times to suit the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs of HGVs and trailers.
- Diagnose faults and perform necessary repairs with minimal supervision.
- Prepare vehicles for MOT in line with DVSA standards.
- Maintain accurate service and repair records.
- Ensure work is completed to the highest standards of safety and compliance.
Shift Options:
- Shift patterns: Sunday to Thursday OR Monday to Friday
- Start times: Between 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM
- Shift length: 8 or 9-hour shifts depending on preference
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HGV Technician or HGV Mechanic.
- Confident in diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs independently.
- Experience with Scania and DAF vehicles is advantageous but not essential.
- Relevant HGV qualifications or equivalent industry experience.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
