About the Role
On behalf of our client, we\'re seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Test & Inspection Electrician to join a busy and growing team working across the Greater London area. The role involves carrying out electrical testing, inspections, and certification in commercial environments, as well as supporting reactive maintenance and remedial work as needed.
You\'ll be part of a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team delivering high standards of electrical safety and compliance as part of integrated MEP and construction solutions.

Test and Inspection Electrician
Key Responsibilities
- Perform EICRs (Electrical Installation Condition Reports) on commercial sites.
- Conduct initial verification, periodic inspection, and testing of installations in line with BS7671.
- Produce clear and accurate reports, certificates, and documentation using relevant software/tools.
- Identify and report on any defects or non-compliances and provide recommendations for remedial action.
- Support the delivery of remedial and upgrade works following testing outcomes.
- Liaise with clients and site teams to coordinate testing schedules and site access.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety, ensuring all work is compliant with regulations.
- Assist with general electrical maintenance when required, especially during quieter testing periods.

What You\'ll Need
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation
- City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 (Test & Inspection) - Essential
- Up-to-date knowledge of BS7671 Wiring Regulations (18th Edition)
- Valid ECS card
- Proven experience conducting EICRs in commercial environments
- Ability to produce high-quality written reports and certificates
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence
