Our client is looking for an experienced Auto Electrical / Plant Fitter to join their team. The role involves carrying out repairs, maintenance and electrical installations on heavy plant, road rail vehicles and associated equipment.
Position Overview
- Carry out repairs, servicing and maintenance on heavy plant and road rail vehicles.
- Install wiring looms and electrical components.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults.
- Build and assemble mechanical components.
Position Requirements
- Strong electrical and mechanical background.
- Previous fitting and assembly experience.
- Experience working on heavy plant, HGV, quarry, waste, mining or similar equipment (car experience only is not suitable).
- NVQ Level 3 in Auto Electrical Engineering or equivalent would be advantageous.
- Auto Electrical apprenticeship desirable.
- Full UK Driving Licence required.
Position Remuneration
- £20.00 - £22.00 per hour (dependent on experience).
- Full-time, permanent position.

- 08:30am to 16:30pm Monday to Friday.
