Our client is a UK-based logistics and freight forwarding organisation that provides comprehensive international transport solutions. We are recruiting an Export Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing international arrangements from the UK to overseas destinations.
Package:
- Salary £26,000 - £29,000 (DOE)
- Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm
- 20 days + bank holidays
- Company pension scheme (after probation)
- Company laptop
- Monthly tiered performance-based bonus
- On-call weekend/evening cover (with additional pay, shared across the team)
- On-call phone provided
Responsibilities:
- Provide quotations, advice, and travel information to potential and current clients.
- Plan and coordinate international assignments from initiation through to completion.
- Communicate with clients via phone and email on a daily basis, providing updates and guidance throughout the process.
- Arrange transportation with carriers and prepare all required documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with third-party service providers to ensure all elements of the process are delivered efficiently and to agreed standards.
- Ensure compliance with airline requirements and destination country regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and uphold company standards throughout the pet's relocation journey.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in freight, exports, or customs.
- Office-based customer service experience.
- Competency in Microsoft Word and Outlook (Excel a plus).
- Strong English literacy, spelling, and grammar.
- Excellent organisation and time management abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
