We're looking for an experienced Master Technician / Vehicle Technician (MOT Tester) to join a busy, well-established independent automotive service centre in Bognor Regis. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive workshop environment where quality workmanship, diagnostics, and attention to detail are valued and rewarded.

What's on offer

  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm, plus 2 Saturdays per month
  • Holidays: 20 days + 8 bank holidays
  • Basic salary: £36,000 - £38,000 depending on experience + annual bonus
  • Annual pay rise
  • Immediate start available

Key responsibilities

  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vehicles
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately and efficiently
  • Complete MOT tests to required standards
  • Undertake vehicle inspections and health checks
  • Work to high industry standards and manufacturer guidelines
  • Complete job cards and maintain accurate workshop records
  • Support the workshop team to deliver excellent customer service

About you

  • Proven experience as a Master Technician / Vehicle Technician
  • Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
  • Qualified MOT Tester
  • Master Technician qualification
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
