This role will support the end-to-end purchasing process, import/export administration, stock control, and transport coordination.Experience in purchasing or procurement is desirable, but candidates with relevant supply chain or strong administrative experience will also be considered.Key ResponsibilitiesRaise and manage purchase orders with suppliersMaintain strong supplier relationships to ensure timely deliveryUpdate internal systems with confirmed delivery dates and communicate changes to relevant teamsBook in stock on arrival and resolve warehouse queriesPrepare customs documentation for import clearanceSupport the team with import/export queries and documentationMonitor stock levels and ensure availability aligns with business requirementsLiaise with warehouses and product managers to maintain accurate stock holdingsSupport management of slow-moving and obsolete stockEnsure stock records and warehouse reconciliations are accurateArrange transport for purchase orders, negotiating with suppliers for cost and service efficiencySupport direct customer deliveries where requiredMaintain strong relationships with transport providers and third-party warehousesProvide holiday and absence cover across the teamSupport operational targets and stock/order goalsAssist the wider purchasing team with administrative and logistics tasks as neededPerson SpecificationStrong verbal and written communication skillsCompetent IT user (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.) with ERP system experience preferredPrevious experience in purchasing, import/export, or supply chain administration desirableExperience working in a busy office environmentAbility to work independently and prioritise workload effectivelyPositive, flexible attitude with willingness to learn and developStreamline Search is acting as a Recruitment Agency in relation to this vacancy, and in accordance with GDPR by applying to this post you are granting us consent to process your data and contact you in relation to this application.
