Our client is an established commercial and industrial flooring specialist, delivering high-performance concrete, resin, and surface preparation solutions for major projects across the UK and Europe. As a Floor Fitter, you will be responsible for installing high-quality resin flooring systems across a range of commercial and industrial sites. Working as part of a skilled team, you will ensure each project is completed safely, efficiently, and to an exceptional standard.
Our client is seeking individuals with proven experience in resin flooring, including surface preparation, mixing, and application, along with a strong understanding of site safety and quality control.
Position Remuneration- Hourly rate: £15.00 - £17.50 per hour, depending on experience.
- Employment type: Permanent role preferred; subcontractors will also be considered.
- Start date: Immediate start available.
- Location: Actively seeking candidates based in Kent and Essex; however, nationwide travel may be required depending on project locations.

- Prepare and clean surfaces to ensure correct adhesion of resin flooring systems.
- Mix and apply resin materials accurately in line with project specifications.
- Install a variety of resin floor types, including epoxy, polyurethane, and decorative finishes.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently throughout installation and finishing.
- Deliver work to a high standard, meeting both company quality expectations and client requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment on-site at all times.
- Work collaboratively with the site supervisor and wider team to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
- Follow all relevant health and safety procedures, including correct use of PPE and safe handling of materials.
- Carry out finishing touches, repairs, and maintenance of resin floors when required.
- Proven experience in resin flooring, including surface preparation and application (essential).
- Strong practical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a wider site team.
- Willingness to travel and work across different project locations when required.
- Full UK Driving Licence (required).
- CSCS Card (required).
- Experience working with PU screed and MMA systems (advantageous).
- Familiarity with floor preparation machinery such as grinders, vacuums, and related equipment.
- Understanding of curing times, temperature control, and correct material handling.
- Ability to read and follow site drawings, job specifications, and method statements.
