An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Cabinet Maker to join a skilled workshop team within a respected bespoke furniture and joinery business. The successful candidate will work on a wide variety of high-end bespoke furniture projects, including freestanding furniture, fitted interiors, and detailed architectural installations. This role requires exceptional craftsmanship, strong attention to detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality work from technical drawings through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture bespoke furniture and high-quality joinery pieces.
- Read and interpret detailed construction drawings.
- Work with a range of solid timbers, veneers, boards, and specialist materials.
- Operate woodworking machinery safely and efficiently.
- Complete cabinet construction, assembly, and finishing to a high standard.
- Install modern fittings, ironmongery, hinges, and drawer systems.
- Carry out veneering processes including preparation, jointing, and pressing.
- Maintain excellent standards of quality, organisation, and presentation.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Cabinet Maker, Bench Joiner, or similar role.
- Strong practical furniture-making and joinery skills.
- Excellent knowledge of cabinet construction techniques.
- Experience working with veneers, timber, and bespoke materials.
- Ability to work from detailed drawings independently.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
