Streamline Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Transport Planner based in Earls Colne on behalf of a fantastic client. You will be responsible for operational planning of the fleet, ensuring efficient service delivery to customers and meeting service level agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and schedule transport operations, ensuring compliance with Drivers\’ Hours legislation.
  • Support planning and delivery of water services, both planned and reactive.
  • Book travel arrangements and manage charges to minimise penalties.
  • Liaise with drivers, internal teams, and clients in a professional manner.
  • Support commercial enquiries, job specifications, and quoting processes.
  • Prepare detailed work instructions for field technicians.
  • Manage customer or public complaints related to service delivery.
  • Act as primary contact for Emergency Response requests outside of hours.
  • Allocate vehicles and drivers to tasks, ensuring efficient and time-critical service delivery.

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum 2 years\’ experience in HGV Transport Logistics.
  • Ability to manage multiple incidents and prioritise effectively.
  • Previous experience working in a fast paced environment.

£35-40k salary + a wide range of benefit!

You will be working within the operations team on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern across Days, Mid shifts, and Nights. ( 10 hr shifts).
