Job Description:
We are seeking experienced Transport Planners/ Traffic Operators to join a well-established logistics team in Stanford Le Hope. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth coordination of container transport operations. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in the container industry, as those from general freight forwarding backgrounds will not be considered unfortunately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Route planning, scheduling, and dispatching of trucks to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
- Collaboration with port expeditors, supervisors, and fleet management to ensure proper dispatch, truck/trailer services, and driver allocation.
- Liaise with HR to manage driver-related issues and assist with day-to-day operational challenges.
- Oversee traffic operations and regulatory compliance, ensuring safety standards and documentation are followed.
- Provide customer service support by addressing operational concerns and maintaining strong communication with teams.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in container transport is essential.
- Strong knowledge of VBS systems, TOPS, Destin8, and other relevant platforms.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
