Streamline Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a proactive and experienced Exports Executive to join a busy and expanding logistics team based in Tilbury. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid background in export operations to work across multiple modes of transport air, sea, road, and rail in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure all screening, weighing, and packaging requirements are completed prior to shipment.
- Prepare, review, and submit accurate customs declarations and export documentation in compliance with regulations.
- Schedule and manage bookings and collections across multiple transport modes to meet vessel and flight deadlines.
- Serve as the main point of contact for customers, transport providers, and carriers, ensuring smooth communication throughout the export process.
- Consolidate and finalise all shipping documentation, including manifests, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with overseas agents, providing shipment updates, pre-alerts, and resolving operational issues as they arise.
- Support invoicing processes and other operational tasks to maintain efficient logistics workflows.
- Conduct post-shipment follow-ups to confirm customer satisfaction and identify additional service opportunities.
What you'll need:
- Minimum 2 years experience in export operations (airfreight and seafreight).
- Experience completing export documentation, including Certificates of Origin where required.
- Experience with customs declarations.
- Familiarity with CNS and Destin8; experience with forwarding software (e.g., Multi-freight) is a plus.
