Streamline Recruitment are seeking a proactive and reliable Stock Controller to join our client on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity, offering long-term stability for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will be switched on, quick to learn, and able to represent themselves and the company well. Previous warehouse experience is preferred, and while a valid FLT licence would be beneficial, it is not essential as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Goods In: Receive deliveries, inspect items for damages or discrepancies, and complete booking-in processes.
- Stock Control: Maintain accurate stock levels by carrying out stock checks, cycle counts, and regular inventory updates.
- Warehouse Organisation: Ensure goods are stored correctly, safely, and in designated locations to support smooth operations.
- Order Fulfilment: Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders to high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
- System Use: Operate Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to upload documentation, book in stock, allocate orders, and keep records up to date.
- General Warehouse Duties: Assist with day-to-day operations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment at all times.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under pressure.
- A quick learner with good communication skills and a professional approach.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred, but not essential.
- FLT experience or licence beneficial, but not required.
