Company Overview: We are working with a well-established MEP contractor who have built an excellent reputation for looking after their staff and actively promoting career progression. The business delivers complex and high-quality projects across London and is now seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their team, working on prestigious heritage schemes.
Role Overview: This position offers a high level of autonomy, with responsibility for overseeing multiple heritage projects simultaneously. You will manage the mechanical delivery from pre-construction through to completion, working closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the mechanical delivery of multiple heritage projects across London.
- Manage project programmes, budgets, and procurement.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
- Liaise closely with clients, consultants, and conservation stakeholders.
- Ensure works are carried out in line with specifications, quality standards, and heritage constraints.
- Maintain health & safety compliance across all projects.
- Provide regular progress and commercial reporting to senior management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within the MEP/building services sector.
- Experience working on heritage or complex refurbishment projects (highly desirable).
- Ability to manage multiple schemes concurrently.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical building services.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
- Comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership of projects.
