We are working with a well-established contractor delivering a high-quality residential development in St John’s Wood. Due to project progression and a strong forward pipeline, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Site Manager to join the team on a long-term basis. This role would suit a proactive Electrical Site Manager who is keen to grow with the business and play a key part in the successful delivery of residential projects.
The Role
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the electrical works on a residential scheme, ensuring installations are completed safely, on programme, and to a high standard. You will coordinate labour, manage subcontractors, and work closely with the wider site team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee electrical installation works on a residential project.
- Manage subcontractors and direct labour on site.
- Ensure works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications, and programme.
- Maintain high health & safety and quality standards.
- Carry out inspections, snagging, and support handover activities.
- Liaise with project managers and other trades to ensure smooth delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrical Site Manager on residential projects (essential).
- Strong technical knowledge of residential electrical installations.
- Proactive approach with strong organisational and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage teams and drive works forward.
- Relevant site qualifications (SSSTS / SMSTS, ECS preferred).
