We are currently looking for a Counterbalance Forklift Operative to join a busy warehouse team in Tilbury, handling a variety of goods including timber panel products, cocoa, and coffee sacks. This is a hybrid FLT role, meaning you will be required to operate the forklift and assist with general warehouse duties. Please note this is a physically demanding position; sacks of food produce can weigh up to 70kg, and teamwork is essential when handling these items.
Key Duties:
- Unloading containers using a counterbalance forklift
- Palletising and moving heavy bags (up to 70kg) as part of a team
- Supporting general warehouse tasks as needed
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
- Comfortable with physical work
- Flexible with working days if delays occur (usually Monday to Friday)
- Able to work as part of a team
Pay: £12.50 - £13.00 or £14.20 - £14.77 including holiday pay on a weekly basis
Hours: Monday to Friday (10:00-18:00 or 06:00-14:00)
