Streamline Services are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established building materials company, for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Yard & Production Operative. This is a 13-week temp-to-perm role with the opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful probation period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating a counterbalance forklift (valid, in-date licence required)
  • Loading and unloading lorries for inbound and outbound deliveries
  • Yard operations, including stock movement and general site upkeep
  • Putting away products into designated locations
  • Assisting with general warehouse duties including tidying, labelling, and scanning
  • Supporting light production tasks including cut-and-bend, metalwork, and handling 45 metre monotube
  • Completing 515 tasks per day, following work instructions with attention to detail

Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
  • Physically fit and comfortable with active, hands-on duties
  • Methodical and meticulous, with a focus on quality and consistency
  • Enjoys working independently and managing their own workload with minimal supervision
  • Willing to learn and take on new production-based skills (full training provided)
  • Must have own transport due to site location
