Streamline Services are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established building materials company, for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Yard & Production Operative. This is a 13-week temp-to-perm role with the opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful probation period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a counterbalance forklift (valid, in-date licence required)
- Loading and unloading lorries for inbound and outbound deliveries
- Yard operations, including stock movement and general site upkeep
- Putting away products into designated locations
- Assisting with general warehouse duties including tidying, labelling, and scanning
- Supporting light production tasks including cut-and-bend, metalwork, and handling 45 metre monotube
- Completing 515 tasks per day, following work instructions with attention to detail
Ideal Candidate:
- Holds a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
- Physically fit and comfortable with active, hands-on duties
- Methodical and meticulous, with a focus on quality and consistency
- Enjoys working independently and managing their own workload with minimal supervision
- Willing to learn and take on new production-based skills (full training provided)
- Must have own transport due to site location
