Forklift Operator in Tilbury

We are currently recruiting for a FLT driver on behalf of our fantastic client based in Tilbury Docks. This is working for an importer and supplier of paper, timber and other commodities.

Job Responsibilities

• Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently for loading and unloading timber sheets as well as other products occasionally.
• Accurately picking and transporting timber products to designated storage areas.
• Manual handling, including lifting, moving, and stacking goods securely.
• Conducting detailed quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods to ensure they meet required standards.
• Reporting any damaged goods or discrepancies promptly to supervisors.
• Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organisation, ensuring workspaces remain safe and accessible.
• Following health and safety guidelines rigorously to promote a secure working environment for all employees.
• Assisting with inventory management and stock control when required.

Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift License
• Previous warehouse experience

Shifts available Monday to Friday.

07:00 – 17:00

06:00 – 14:00 / 14:00 – 22:00 rotating
