Strong communication and organisational skills are essential, alongside a collaborative and commercially minded approach.

Key responsibilities

  • Allocate workloads, set quality standards and ensure timely, on‑brand delivery.
  • Build a positive team culture and represent marketing across the business.
  • Grow existing customer relationships
  • Work with sales and account management to develop customer communications plans.
  • Plan targeted email and organic social activity to strengthen relationships, encourage repeat business and increase customer value.
  • Develop audience segmentation based on customer sectors, interests and relationships.
  • Align marketing activity with commercial priorities.
  • Build brand awareness
  • Develop and deliver outbound marketing campaigns targeting priority sectors and decision‑makers.
  • Create consistent messaging that communicates what makes us different.
  • Coordinate campaigns across relevant channels, measuring results and improving performance.
  • Travel to strategy days and client meetings in London and other UK cities as required.
  • Lead marketing communications
  • Own the organic social strategy, content planning and delivery.
  • Write and brief engaging, on‑brand communications.
  • Manage marketing assets and resources within Share Point.
  • Keep stakeholders informed of plans, progress and results.
  • Use AI thoughtfully to support marketing activity, applying judgement to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • What you’ll bring
  • Proven experience managing and developing a team, ideally across digital and creative disciplines.
  • Experience managing external agencies, freelancers or design partners.
  • Experience leading marketing communications from planning through to delivery.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A commercial mindset and understanding of how marketing drives retention, growth and sales.
  • Strong knowledge of organic social, email marketing and audience segmentation.
  • Experience using Hub Spot, including reporting.
  • Excellent organisation and project management skills.
  • Confidence using and managing Share Point.
