What we need!
We\’re recruiting a multifaceted and dedicated Workflow Manager to join our team. As an experienced professional, they will be a core part of our high-end feature film, streaming and television projects. They\’ll play a crucial role in ensuring a cohesive workflow from the moment filming wraps to the final product.
Our Workflow Manager will have a deep understanding of the entire post-production process, including the latest camera file formats, codecs, and colour spaces. They will be the go-to person for everything from colour pipelines and VFX pulls, to monitor calibration and on-set workflows.
In this hybrid role, our Workflow Manager will support our dailies teams and work directly with editorial clients using our innovative VFX pull platform, Pulse. They’ll be the central point of contact, bringing together vendors, clients, and internal teams to ensure a seamless workflow that keeps the project\’s creative vision on track.
What we need you to do!
- Serves as direct liaison between Final Colorist, internal teams, clients (Show, Studio, Executives, and production staff), and vendors (VFX teams, Film Lab, etc) to ensure a smooth post-production process and overall client experience.
- Organises pre-production calls in conjunction with Production, Editorial, Dailies Lab, and Finishing to discuss shooting schedule, camera setup, color science and deliverables.
- Coordinates all aspects of post-production for project, marshalling resources and ensuring all parties are working in unison and as envisioned by Final Colorist
- Works with Editorial and Production Supervisor or Post-Production Supervisor on a daily basis providing deliverable turnaround times and archive completion times where appropriate.
- Converses directly with the client each morning on any overnight developments relayed from Dailies Lab that may impact usual delivery expectations.
- Helps guide client through the post-production process.
What Experience we’re looking for!
- Project Management & Producing: Proven experience as a post-production/Dailies Producer or a similar role, managing multiple projects from pre-production through final delivery (including scheduling, resource allocation, and ensuring all teams both internal and external are aligned).
- Stakeholder Communication & Management: Demonstrated ability to act as a primary point of contact and liaison between various stakeholders, including clients, executives, creative teams (like the Final Colourist) and external vendors (VFX, labs, etc.). Experience in managing client expectations and guiding them through complex workflows.
- Post-Production Workflow: Deep understanding of the entire post-production pipeline, including dailies, editorial, colour science, VFX integration, and final delivery (including experience in organising pre-production calls to plan technical workflows and deliverables).
- Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Experience in anticipating and proactively solving issues that may arise during the post-production process, such as overnight developments from a dailies lab or changes to a shooting schedule.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of post-production terminology, common industry software, colour science and various camera formats. This is crucial for effectively communicating with technical teams and clients.
- Client Service Excellence: An understanding of what constitutes a high-quality client experience in a post-production environment. This includes providing clear communication, managing expectations and offering guidance throughout the process.
- Time Management & Organisation: Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage complex schedules, deadlines and a multitude of moving parts to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
What else do we need you to know?
- The ideal candidate understands film and television production does not keep to standard office hours. Must be open to occasional evening / weekend interactions with Dailies Lab or Clients, as film and television production is a 24/7 business.
- There is a shuttle bus that runs from Pinewood Studios to Slough train station from 07:00 until 19:00.
- Candidates will not be provided with transport or expenses towards transport and will be expected to make their own way to and from their work base.
