What we need

We are looking for a Junior Engineer with experience of working in a studio or games environment to join our team and ensure that we can continue to deliver the high standard of work that our clients have come to expect. This is a unique opportunity for someone with ambition and ability to join the technical team in a market leading games creation company.

What you will need to do

  • Maintaining audio systems and studios for games creation and post-production.
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting equipment.
  • Implementing upgrades and commissioning new systems.
  • Responding to critical issues.
  • Working with internal and external parties where necessary to deliver these solutions.

What Experience we’re looking for

Key Skills

  • Good working knowledge of audio systems and video systems for studio work
  • Good general IT knowledge and experience of supporting users
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
  • Experience of working in a studio environment
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Ability to work and provide support in high-pressure situations
  • Troubleshooting skills essential
  • Previous post-production experience preferred
  • Wiring proficiency and practical skills desirable

Good working knowledge of

  • Audio routing and patching
  • MacOS and Windows OS
  • DAWs - Pro Tools essential, Reaper experience desirable
  • Dolby Atmos (Theatrical desirable)
  • Avid S6/Eucon Control Surfaces
  • Understanding of embedded audio/picture to SDI, AES3 audio, MADI & Dante
  • Basic networking skills
  • Familiarity with game design workflow desirable
  • DADman routing/patching and monitor profile building
  • Video routing and basic projector/TV setups

What you will gain
