We are looking for a Junior Engineer with experience of working in a studio or games environment to join our team and ensure that we can continue to deliver the high standard of work that our clients have come to expect. This is a unique opportunity for someone with ambition and ability to join the technical team in a market leading games creation company.
What we need you to do:
- Maintaining audio systems and studios for games creation and post-production.
- Maintaining and troubleshooting equipment.
- Implementing upgrades and commissioning new systems.
- Responding to critical issues.
- Working with internal and external parties where necessary to deliver these solutions.
Key Skills:
- Good working knowledge of audio systems and video systems for studio work.
- Good general IT knowledge and experience of supporting users.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Experience of working in a studio environment.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Ability to work and provide support in high-pressure situations.
- Troubleshooting skills essential.
- Previous post-production experience preferred.
- Wiring proficiency and practical skills desirable.
Good working knowledge of:
- Audio routing and patching.
- MacOS and Windows OS.
- DAWs - Pro Tools essential, Reaper experience desirable.
- Dolby Atmos (Theatrical desirable).
- Avid S6/Eucon Control Surfaces.
- Understanding of embedded audio/picture to SDI, AES3 audio, MADI & Dante.
- Basic networking skills.
- Familiarity with game design workflow desirable.
- DADman routing/patching and monitor profile building.
- Video routing and basic projector/TV setups.
