What we need:
We're looking for an Assistant Post Producer to support the day to day running of our short form team which primarily serves BBC Creative and UKTV Creative. This role sits right at the heart of what we do, keeping projects moving, resources booked and clients well looked after across a high volume of short form work.
This is primarily an on site role across both our locations, with remote days agreed in line with the rest of the team.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing bookings and scheduling across both accounts, making sure the right people and resources are in place at the right time
- Coordinating freelancer bookings, onboarding and payments
- Setting up new projects cleanly and accurately
- Triaging incoming client queries, resolving what you can and escalating what you can't
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, becoming a trusted, familiar face across both accounts
- Keeping resource and capacity visible so nothing slips through the cracks
- Assertive and articulate, comfortable holding your own with clients and colleagues at every level
- Familiar with the post production landscape and associated processes, with a working understanding of how a facility operates day to day
- Proactive by nature, the sort of person who takes responsibility for tasks and runs with them
- A resourceful problem solver, someone who, when they don't have the answer, goes and finds it rather than waiting to be told
- Personable and relationship focused, able to build rapport and give clients confidence
- Calm and organised under pressure, able to juggle competing priorities
- Strong communicator, both written and verbal
- Experience in a similar coordinating or booking role
- No specific system knowledge needed, we'll get you up to speed on our tools
