We are looking for a detail-focused and driven Technical Operator to join our Operational Delivery team in Media City, Manchester. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to kickstart a career in the online video sector and be at the heart of live sports broadcasting. You’ll work closely with Operational Planning and Delivery teams to ensure our clients’ events are delivered seamlessly across their platforms.

You’ll be responsible for supporting the smooth operation of live broadcasts and on-demand services, using cutting-edge technologies including AWS Media Services. You’ll be part of a fast-paced environment, ensuring everything runs as planned, every time.

What You’ll Be Responsible For (and Trusted With)

  • Follow technical workflows to deliver live events successfully.
  • Support clients by resolving issues promptly using established procedures.
  • Operate live production equipment to manage ingest and switching of streams.
  • Collaborate with 2nd line technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
  • Monitor live streams from end to end, ensuring optimal client and audience experience.
  • Support the customer service team as needed with technical queries.
