Stream was founded with the mission to provide fair financial tools to the everyday worker. Offered through destination employers like Greene King, Bupa, Burger King, Asda and the NHS, our award-winning platform helps over three million people to earn, learn, save, spend and borrow on their own terms, all in one smartphone app.
Stream is unique: VC backed and growing at scale, but with a social conscience. Some of the world's leading impact funds were our founding investors, and we operate on a social charter, which means every product and service we create must measurably improve financial wellbeing.
You’d be joining a team of over 300 passionate, ambitious people across Europe and the USA, building a category-defining product, and united by that same mission.
The Opportunity
Stream disrupted the payday loan industry by giving workers access to their earned wages before payday, cutting out high-cost lenders and putting control back in people’s hands. Now we’re setting our sights on the next frontier: only 8% of UK household wealth is held directly in equities, the lowest in the G7, and we’re building the products to change that.
We already have a growing suite of Wealth products: Workplace Savings, pension consolidation and our AI-powered Money Coach. The next chapter is converting savers into first investors, and this is where the role sits.
We’re looking for a product leader who combines deep knowledge of regulated financial services with the hunger and adaptability, to build something from scratch.
This is a high-impact, 0-to-1 role. As Wealth Product Manager, you’ll own the end-to-end journey of bringing a new investment product to market, with real autonomy and real accountability.
Specifically, you will:
- Own the product from 0 to 1: Drive discovery and validation through to launch and iteration, setting a clear vision, defining success metrics, scoping MVP and owning the roadmap to deliver it.
- Build the operating model: design the operational infrastructure with relevant third parties, with scalability and automation built in from day one.
- Navigate the regulatory landscape: Understand the relevant FCA framework, identifying opportunities and translating requirements into clear product decisions and user journeys.
- Lead stakeholder and client engagement: Lead cross-functional delivery with Engineering, Design, Compliance and Customer Success, and own the go-to-market plan at launch.
The role reports to our VP of Wealth.
Stream has a genuine focus on moving quickly, avoiding waste, and getting compliant MVP to market as fast as possible.
What experience might you have? (But if you’re close… we'd still love to talk to you!)
- Proven track record of delivering user-facing products end-to-end, from discovery through to launch.
- Experience in FCA-regulated environments; a background in savings, investments or pensions is a strong prerequisite.
- Experience building and standing up operating models, ideally in a 0-to-1 context where the processes didn’t exist before you.
- Quantitative and analytical mindset, with a solid grasp of commercial concepts.
- Excellent stakeholder management, comfortable engaging internal leadership and senior employer clients.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving, small team: you set your own direction and deliver.
- Familiarity with Figma, mobile and web apps and use of the latest AI tools.
Working Policy
We operate a hybrid working policy with 3 days a week in-office expectation.
Salary
Starting from £70,000 £110,000 base (dependent on experience), plus equity.
