After securing a £300m debt financing facility with Citi, we’re seeking an experienced consumer Credit Risk Analyst to play a pivotal role in one of the fastest growing scale‑ups in Europe. As part of this role, you will create products unseen in the marketplace, helping to accelerate our lending strategy, seeing it through to a billion‑pound portfolio. The ideal candidate is tired of owning a predetermined strategy and ready to bet on themself. This role operates within a multi‑functional team which manages all aspects of credit products.
What will you be doing?
- Defining and optimising the credit strategy for our evolving lending portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Discovering insights from data and formulate strategies to answer the big questions and address key business questions
- Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to implement your strategies in the market effectively
- Monitoring and assess the success of implemented strategies, and continuously identifying further opportunities for enhancement
- Formulating strategies to improve our affordability policy and ensure the delivery of positive customer outcomes
What experience might you have?
- Able to structure complex problems into manageable frameworks
- Ability to turn mountains of data into insights and solutions
- Proficiency in analytical tools like Excel and SQL (Python is welcome)
- Experience in a fast pace analytical environment (consumer‑lending environment, ideally with credit cards or unsecured loans, experience is preferred)
- Inquisitive and truth‑seeking attitude, with an inclination to challenge the status‑quo
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a cross‑functional environment

Salary
Dependant on experience, salary ranging from £60,000 – £100,000 & stocks
