The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Creative AI and working alongside our Product and Brand Designers across the UK and US, this is a permanent full-time role for a Senior Brand Designer to help shape and scale how Stream's brand shows up across everything we do.
This role sits at the intersection of brand craft and systems thinking.
We're looking for someone with the visual instincts of a senior brand designer, the systems mindset of a product designer, and genuine curiosity about how AI is changing the way brand work gets made.
You'll be hands-on producing high-craft brand work, and equally invested in building the templates, guardrails and AI-assisted workflows that let the wider business self-serve on the standard stuff.
You'll work closely with the Head of Creative AI to embed AI into the design function, partner with our Product and Brand Designers across the UK and US to keep the global brand consistent and evolving, and be the person the UK team looks to for creative craft on our flagship moments, from Fin Well 27 to client launches to our thought leadership.
What will you be doing?
- Partner with the Head of Creative AI to shape and evolve Stream's brand across UK and US markets
- Lead the creative direction and delivery of flagship moments including Fin Well 27, client launch events and major client and prospect activations
- Design high-craft GTM collateral, thought leadership pieces, client launch materials and event assets across digital, social, print and environmental
- Build self-serve templates and lightweight brand tools that let Marketing, Sales, Partnerships and the Impact team produce on-brand work without going through the design team
- Continue evolving Stream's Figma brand design system in collaboration with the US Brand Designer, keeping it the single source of truth across both markets
- Help grow and maintain Stream's internal visuals library, keeping it up to date, on-brand, and useful to the wider team
- Partner with the Head of Creative AI on integrating LLMs, generative AI workflows and AI-assisted production into the design function, so the brand scales without breaking
- Illustrate, art-direct and hand-craft the pieces that need a senior brand hand: hero visuals, editorial layouts for thought leadership, print production for events
What we're looking for
- Must-haves
- 5+ years of experience in brand design, with a strong portfolio across digital, social, print and events
- Demonstrable experience building and maintaining a design system in Figma (components, variants, properties, design tokens, auto-layout)
- Strong illustration skills and a good eye for editorial layout
- Confident with print production for events: specifying, prepping and delivering with print suppliers
- A systems mindset: you think in components and templates, not one-off artworks
- Understanding of LLMs, generative AI workflows and how AI integrates into design systems
- Excellent written communication: you can document a system so non-designers can use it
- Available to work from our London office on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays
- Experience working in fintech, financial services or a regulated environment
- Hands-on experience with AI image and video tools (Nano Banana, Midjourney, Firefly, Runway, Veo, Kling) and a point of view on how they plug into a design system
- Experience with Figma variables, design token tooling (Tokens Studio, Style Dictionary) or design-to-code pipelines
- Lightweight motion graphics or video production
- Experience contributing to brand evolution across multiple markets
- What success looks like
The milestones below shape the first nine months in the role. They set the shape of the function you're building, not just the volume of work delivered.
- Month 3: Landed, producing, first wins
- Fully onboarded across Stream's brand ecosystem: the existing Figma design system, the token architecture, the dual-register B2B/B2C brand structure, and working relationships with UK Marketing, Sales, the Impact team, and the UK and US Product and Brand Designers.
- Co-authored a working gap analysis of the current brand system with the Head of Creative AI and the wider brand collective, with a shared point of view on evolution priorities for the next six months.
- Shipped your first batch of GTM collateral that demonstrates the standard, and your first self-serve template that Marketing or Sales is actively using.
- Fin Well 27 flagship event brief scoped, visual direction agreed with the Head of Creative AI, production plan in place.
- Fin Well 27 executed end-to-end: visual direction, venue design, digital and print collateral, event assets, all delivered to the standard the flagship demands.
- Alongside it, the core GTM templating suite is live and being adopted by non-designers across Sales, Marketing and Partnerships for standard collateral.
- First AI-assisted production workflows for brand outputs in day-to-day use, developed jointly with the Head of Creative AI.
Regular collaboration rhythm established with the US Brand Designer, with global brand evolution priorities agreed for H2.
- Month 9: Scaled, embedded, self-serve
- Stream's brand system operates as the source of truth across UK and US, well-documented, AI-ready, and running on day-to-day work with designers and non-designers alike drawing from it confidently.
- Thought leadership and client launch collateral is delivered through a healthy mix of bespoke craft and templated production, freeing your time for the work that genuinely needs a senior brand hand.
- You are recognised across the business as the person setting the standard for how the Stream brand shows up, not just the person producing it.
Groundwork laid for the next set of brand evolution bets going into the following year.
