Offered through destination employers like Greene King, Bupa, Burger King, Asda and the NHS, our award-winning platform helps over three million people to earn, learn, save, spend and borrow on their own terms, all in one smartphone app. Stream is unique: VC backed and growing at scale, but with a social conscience. Some of the world's leading impact funds were our founding investors, and we operate on a social charter, which means every product and service we create must measurably improve financial wellbeing. You’d be joining a team of over 200 passionate, ambitious people across Europe and the USA, building a category-defining product, and united by that same mission.
The Role
The Delivery Associate is the most junior role in our Delivery team, and it is the starting point for a clear career path into implementation and delivery management. You will work alongside and in support of senior Delivery Managers, getting hands-on exposure to how Stream launches and scales its employer partnerships from day one. You will not be thrown in to manage complex programmes alone — but you will be given real responsibility, real work, and real coaching. Over time, as your confidence and capability grow, you will take on increasing ownership, with a defined pathway into managing your own implementations. This is a role for someone who is hungry to learn, thrives on variety, and wants to understand how a fast-growing fintech really operates end-to-end.
What you'll do
- Supporting senior Delivery Managers
- Work as part of a delivery team on complex, large-scale employer implementations — taking ownership of defined workstreams and tasks under the guidance of a senior DM
- Maintain delivery artefacts including project plans, RAID logs, status updates, and meeting notes, keeping everything accurate and up to date
- Coordinate across internal teams (product, engineering, data, operations) to chase actions, clear blockers, and keep projects moving
- Prepare materials for client meetings and internal reviews, and join calls to build your stakeholder skills in a supported environment
Technical responsibilities
- Action technical setup tasks as part of broader project delivery — for example configuring platform settings, validating integrations, running data checks, or supporting UAT
- Work closely with engineering and product teams to understand what is needed, ask good questions, and ensure technical tasks are completed on time and to spec
- Flag issues clearly and elevate with context, rather than letting blockers sit
Change Requests and client migrations
- Support the team in processing client Change Requests — tracking progress, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and keeping clients informed
- Assist with client migrations, helping to manage data, timelines, and communication under the direction of a senior DM
SMB account onboarding
- Own the end-to-end onboarding journey for smaller SMB employer accounts — managing the timeline, client communication, and internal coordination to deliver a fast, smooth go-live
- Build repeatable, efficient onboarding habits that set clients up for success and contribute to how we scale delivery across the team
What we're looking for
We care far more about how you think and what drives you than your specific background. You will likely thrive here if:
- You have a degree from a strong academic institution — any discipline, though we particularly welcome engineers, scientists, and anyone from a problem-solving background
- You have some experience coordinating or contributing to a project — this could be a final-year dissertation, a society, a part-time job, a sports team, or anything where you had to keep things organised and on track
- You are exceptionally organised and do not let things slip — you follow up, track details, and close loops without being reminded
- You communicate clearly and confidently in writing and in conversation, including when things go wrong
- You are comfortable with ambiguity and can make sensible progress without waiting to be told exactly what to do
- You are analytically minded — curious about data, comfortable in spreadsheets, and naturally drawn to understanding the ‘why’ behind a problem
- You are resilient, adaptable, and energised by pace rather than slowed by it
Bonus points for
- Any exposure to SaaS, fintech, or a technical B2B environment
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Monday.com, or similar project management software
- Any formal project management training (e.g. a Prince2 Foundation, a placement year in a PMO, or similar)
Working policy
We operate a hybrid policy with a requirement of three days a week in the office. Salary up to £35,000 per year + Equity & Benefits.
What will we do for you?
- A clear, defined pathway from Delivery Associate into implementation and delivery management roles as your experience grows
- Direct exposure to how a scaling fintech builds and manages commercial partnerships
- 25 Days Annual Leave in addition to public holidays (up to 5 day rollover), as well as flexible time off allowances for any ad-hoc childcare/family/caring needs
- 24 weeks' paid Maternity Leave and 4 weeks paid Paternity Leave for employees with over 12 months service
- Special Leave for In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) and other fertility treatments
- Sabbatical scheme
- Paid leave to volunteer
- Private Healthcare including comprehensive mental and physical healthcare
- Salary sacrifice to pension, as well as bonus exchange to Pension: reap even more rewards of any bonus by paying into your pension & save on Tax and NI + added compound growth
- Enjoy savings with our electric vehicle salary sacrifice scheme
- Season Ticket Loan
- Access to Salary Sacrifice Schemes via ThanksBen: THE Benefits marketplace. Choose the benefits you want, when you want. Pay less tax, receive more value, including: Workplace nurseries, Cycle to Work, Home and Tech Scheme and more.
