Senior Database Administrator MySQL / PostgreSQL / Timeseries DB London | Hybrid | £8095K + Bonus & Package A fantastic opportunity for a hands-on Senior DBA to take ownership of a diverse database estate supporting critical trading and operational systems within a leading financial exchange technology environment. Youll be responsible for database performance, availability, security, upgrades, backups, recovery and migrations , while working closely with developers and infrastructure teams. Key Responsibilities Own and manage the database environment. Ensure high availability, performance, reliability and security. Performance tuning, monitoring and troubleshooting. Manage upgrades, patching, backups and recovery. Support schema design, SQL optimisation and integrations. Manage database access, permissions and compliance. Act as the escalation point for database issues. Build and optimise SQL queries for Grafana and reporting.
