Stream Marine Training (SMT) is a specialist provider of training and consultancy services to the Global Maritime sector, including Oil and Gas, Renewable Energy, Offshore Construction, and Cruise Lines. Our team consists of experienced former seafarers, offshore managers, and learning and competence specialists.
This is a full-time (or Part-Time) Marine Instructor role located on-site in Glasgow and may require some travel to attend Clients sites to deliver training. The Marine Instructor will be responsible for conducting industry-accredited training courses, providing consultancy services, and delivering safety-critical training activities.
We are looking for a Seafarer with management experience onboard Tankers to deliver Tanker Familiarization Courses as well as other STCW courses with the outlook of developing future courses.
Qualifications:- Experience onboard Tankers, Chief Officer/2nd Engineer CoC or above.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Experience in delivering training and consultancy services.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools and systems.
