Strawson Ltd is a third-generation family owned business based in Bilsthorpe, Nottinghamshire growing and packing root vegetables for major retail customers. We are a strong, professional and open business committed to our customers, staff and care for the environment.

We are seeking to strengthen our team by recruiting a Line Supervisor to support our Production team.

Responsibilities

· Coordinate the carrot wash/parsnip line workflow to meet the orders

· Become proficient with the camera grading system

· Plan and prioritize workload to ensure maximum performance and minimum downtime

· Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption

· Stock management

· Ensuring all related company procedures are adhered to

· Keep paperwork up to date

· Maintaining compliance with Health and Safety standards

· Pro-Actively support continues improvement and lean manufacturing principles

· Maintain a high standard of house keeping (5S)

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

· Previous experience in operating plant machinery within food production

· Good standard of English and Maths

TRAINING

WORKING HOURS

4 on 4 off shift pattern, working 40 hours per week, overtime available

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £14.32 per hour
