We're looking for a Senior Manager, Account Management to lead and grow the Account Management team in Europe. This is a player-coach role: you'll directly manage our EMEA-based Account Managers while maintaining your own portfolio of strategic partners. You'll work closely with commercial leadership and your counterparts in other regions to ensure a consistent, high-quality approach to partner management globally.
Reporting to the regional commercial lead, you'll work closely with commercial leadership and cross-functional partners to deliver exceptional experiences for Strava's brand partners and the global athlete community.
We follow a flexible hybrid model that translates to more than half of your time on-site in our London office — three days per week.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead & Develop the Team
- Directly manage and coach a team of EMEA-based Account Managers, setting clear performance expectations and providing hands-on coaching support
- Translate your own client instincts into repeatable, teachable practices that raise the ceiling for the whole team
- Build a high-performing, growth-oriented culture focused on retention and expansion as a first-class commercial responsibility
- Player-Coach Leadership
- Manage a portfolio of direct clients and media agencies across EMEA.
- Partner closely with Client Partners to drive renewals, growth, and long-term client success
- Use your proximity to client work to continuously inform and sharpen team development and AM strategy
- Drive Revenue & Client Success
- Own revenue performance across the EMEA AM portfolio, with accountability for retention and expansion outcomes
- Strengthen client relationships and ensure consistent, high-quality campaign delivery across the region
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Creative and Product to deliver for partners
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- 7+ years of experience in account management, partnerships, media sales, or digital marketing — including experience at a senior or lead level.
- Experience managing Account Management or Customer Success teams.
- Strong commercial acumen with an understanding of advertising, partnerships, or platform-based sales models.
- Consultative approach to client relationships, with a track record of building trust and driving retention and growth within existing accounts.
- Track record of translating personal client instincts into repeatable, teachable practices that elevate a wider team
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity — able to create structure and clarity where little exists.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Legal and Operations.
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
- Fluency in English required; additional European language a plus
