Role Overview
We are looking for a Commercial Analyst to join our Northern European Hub (NEH) Commercial Excellence team. Based in the UK, this role is primarily responsible for the UKI market, playing a vital part in supporting data-driven decision-making across Sales, Marketing, Services, and Finance. The position enables smarter, faster, and more efficient performance by delivering insights and analytics that drive local commercial success and contribute to regional collaboration. You will deliver robust analysis, reporting, and automation, while partnering closely with stakeholders to solve complex business problems and contribute to strategic initiatives both locally and regionally.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial & Functional Analytics
- Design and deliver high-impact sales reports and dashboards to support local and regional decision-making.
- Own the UKI incentive calculation, sales target modelling, and rebate analytics process.
- Deliver analytical support for:
- – Tender pricing and quotation scenarios
- – Customer segmentation and account planning
- – Loyalty and discount scheme modelling
- Conduct ad hoc analysis to support cross-functional stakeholders with timely insights.
BI Development & Reporting
- Develop and maintain reporting suites locally and across the NEH using Power BI, supporting commercial and functional performance visibility.
- Support the development of new Salesforce Analytics (Einstein) dashboards, collaborating with EMEA and Global Commercial Excellence teams.
- Own and optimise data architecture and reporting pipelines, with a focus on automation, scalability, and reliability.
- Leverage tools such as Alteryx for data transformation, cleansing, and workflow efficiency.
- Ensure reporting solutions are intuitive, insight-driven, and aligned with business needs.
Data Innovation & Automation
- Explore and apply AI tools and automation to enhance reporting, anomaly detection, performance forecasting, and decision support.
- Support the integration of predictive analytics and natural language query tools to empower self-serve data access and improve time-to-insight.
- Collaborate with the EMEA Data Taskforce to adopt and deploy AI use cases across commercial data landscapes.
Enablement & Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a business partner to key functional leads and UKI leadership team members (Sales, Marketing, Services, Finance).
- Train and support users in interpreting and using reports and tools effectively.
- Support regional & global level initiatives and projects as part of our ongoing digital transformation.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills to present findings clearly, influence decisions, and facilitate collaborative discussions.
Technical Proficiency
- Highly skilled in Power BI (DAX, data modelling), with exposure to Salesforce Analytics (CRMA) and Alteryx preferable.
- Knowledge of SQL, Python, or R is a plus for data manipulation and automation.

- Collaborative team player who builds trust, manages expectations, and aligns diverse perspectives to drive outcomes.
