Exceptional opportunities have arisen for Project Quantity Surveyors and Senior Quantity Surveyors to join leading Tier 1 contractors and developers delivering a portfolio of landmark, high-rise residential developments across London. With individual project values of up to £300 million, these design-led schemes will deliver hundreds of new homes across architecturally striking towers, incorporating:
- Luxury private residences & mixed-tenure housing
- Premium leisure, wellness, and resident amenities
These technically complex, sustainability-focused developments represent the next generation of London living, offering ambitious commercial professionals the chance to work on projects of national profile with long-term career potential.
The Roles
Reporting into the Commercial Manager, you’ll be involved in the full commercial lifecycle of major residential packages:
- Project Quantity Surveyors will take ownership of key work packages while supporting overall commercial delivery.
- Senior Quantity Surveyors will lead major packages, drive commercial performance, and mentor junior team members.
Both roles offer genuine exposure to high-value, complex schemes within well-structured, commercially strong teams.
- Manage and/or oversee the commercial performance of major project packages
- Lead procurement, tendering, subcontractor management, and contract administration
- Prepare and manage valuations, variations, and CVRs
- Produce accurate forecasts and contribute to commercial reporting
- Drive value engineering and cost-optimisation initiatives
- Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and best practice
- Work collaboratively with project, design, and technical teams (Senior level)
- Mentor and support junior commercial staff
About You
- Project Quantity Surveyor: Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management, 5+ years’ experience on large-scale residential or mixed-use projects, Strong RC frame and residential construction background, Commercially aware, analytical, and proactive.
- Senior Quantity Surveyor: Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management, 7+ years’ experience delivering major residential or mixed-use schemes, Proven ability to lead packages and manage commercial risk, Confident communicator with strong leadership and negotiation skills.
All candidates should be proficient in Excel and cost management systems, detail-focused, and motivated by long-term project success.
