The Roles

Reporting into the Commercial Manager, you’ll be involved in the full commercial lifecycle of major residential packages:

  • Project Quantity Surveyors will take ownership of key work packages while supporting overall commercial delivery.
  • Senior Quantity Surveyors will lead major packages, drive commercial performance, and mentor junior team members.

Both roles offer genuine exposure to high-value, complex schemes within well-structured, commercially strong teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and/or oversee the commercial performance of major project packages
  • Lead procurement, tendering, subcontractor management, and contract administration
  • Prepare and manage valuations, variations, and CVRs
  • Produce accurate forecasts and contribute to commercial reporting
  • Drive value engineering and cost-optimisation initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and best practice
  • Work collaboratively with project, design, and technical teams
  • (Senior level) Mentor and support junior commercial staff

About You

  • Project Quantity Surveyor
    Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management
    5+ years’ experience on large-scale residential or mixed-use projects
    Strong RC frame and residential construction background
    Commercially aware, analytical, and proactive
  • Senior Quantity Surveyor
    Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management
    7+ years’ experience delivering major residential or mixed-use schemes
    Proven ability to lead packages and manage commercial risk
    Confident communicator with strong leadership and negotiation skills

All candidates should be proficient in Excel and cost management systems, detail-focused, and motivated by long-term project success.
