Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Engineer to join our Europe & Africa team. The ideal candidate will have a technical background in reservoir characterization or business development and a keen interest in sales. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to learn quickly, and a passion for customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and executing sales strategies to achieve company targets.
- Support the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities both within existing and new markets.
- Provide technical support and expertise to clients, helping them understand the value of our products and services.
- Prepare and assist in delivering technical presentations and proposals to clients.
- Collaborate with the technical team to ensure client requirements are met.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitor activities.
- Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote Stratum Reservoir\’s offerings.
- Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to manage client interactions and sales processes.
- Prepare and respond to tenders, ensuring all client requirements are met and proposals are competitive.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor\’s degree in Engineering, Geosciences, Business Development, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in a technical, sales, or business development role within the energy industry (internships or co-op experience considered).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow.
- Ability to travel as required.
