We’re hiring Sewing Machinists in Leicester
Stratton Mills are an employment business who provide Manufacturing Personnel around the UK. We have a great opportunity for the right Sewing Machinist. Successful candidates will be offered full time shifts on a temporary to permanent basis.
- Salary: £12.50 – £14.50
- Hours: Full-time (37,5 hours per week)
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential

Duties for the Sewing Machinist Role
- Follow operating instructions for the Walking Foot Sewing Machine, Overlocking, Lockstitch, Binding Machine.
- Complete requirements for sewing leather car seat covers.
- Draw threads through needles and adjust machine functions to meet the requirements of the sewing project.
Ideal Sewing Machinist Candidate
- Good attention to detail & excellent hand-eye coordination
- Experience in working to targets
- Previous industrial sewing machine experience, within a factory environment
