Stratton Mills are an employment agency who provide Fashion Personnel around the UK. We have a great opportunity for Sewing Machinists. Successful candidates will be offered full-time shifts on a temp to perm basis.
Duties for the Sewing Machinist Role:
- Follow an operating instruction for the particular job.
- Complete requirement for sewing items using appropriate materials.
- Draw threads through needles and adjust machine functions to meet the requirements of the sewing project.
- Report any faults or discrepancies to the Team Leader.
- Quality Control checks.
- Recording the number of items produced.
- Perform general maintenance tasks on sewing machines to ensure their longevity.
Ideal Sewing Machinist Candidate:
- Good attention to detail
- Experience of working to targets
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- A minimum of 3 years sewing experience gained within the industry.
