Stratton Mills is recruiting for a passionate and caring Nursery Deputy Manager to work full time at our client's nursery in Chiswick, London. We're looking for a dedicated Nursery Deputy Manager to provide a safe, stimulating, educational and fun environment for children attending Crèche Play.
Our client's nursery provides childcare and welfare for children of up to five years of age, so it's imperative that the facilities and surroundings provide a clean, safe and welcoming environment. High quality early learning and care which is in line with Early Years Foundation Stage requirements will be key to your role.
You will have experience of working with children under five years of age and their families with an NVQ Level 4 minimum in Child Development (or equivalent). Knowledge of the EYFS framework and principles, plus safeguarding issues, procedures and an understanding of equality and diversity issues is vital.
The deputy manager will assist the manager in the smooth running of the nursery on a daily basis, helping to ensure that high standards are implemented throughout and ensuring all children are happy and safe within a stimulating and secure learning environment.
The successful candidate will:
- Have a passion for working with children.
- Have senior/supervisory experience in an Early Years setting.
- Possess excellent safeguarding and EYFS knowledge.
- Have experience of Early Years Business Management.
- Hold an NVQ Level 4 Childcare qualification or above.
- Be an effective and amicable team player.
