Stratton Mills are recruiting for a passionate and caring Health Care Assistant to work full time for our client in the Bagillt/ Flint Area. The successful candidate will be working full time in a care home on a permanent basis. You will support residents and add value to their lives through assisting them in their daily activities, be that with personal care, companionship or general support.
Some experience is preferred; however, our emphasis is upon gaining new members of staff that truly care for residents, as a positive can-do attitude will greatly benefit the post holder and the residents. Job Role:
- Look after the physical, emotional, cultural and social needs of the Client using a person-centred approach, including personal care.
- Observe and promote the Client’s choice, independence, dignity, privacy, fulfilment and other rights.
- Create and maintain good professional relationships with Clients, their Family and Friends.
- Actively support other Care Workers.
- Adhere to all regulatory and statutory obligations and Caring Hand’s policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Follow Care plans accurately and keep records where required.
- Contribute to the smooth running of the care home.
