Breakdown of the Sewing Machinist Role:
Products: Clothing
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 6.00 am to 4.15 pm or 7.00 am to 5.15 pm (4 DAY WEEK)
Immediate Start
English Level: Beginner
Location: Sudbury, Suffolk.
Duties for the Sewing Machinist Role:
Follow operating instructions for the Lockstitch, Overlock, Walking Foot Machine
Complete requirements for sewing items such as jackets and coats using the appropriate materials.
Draw threads through needles and adjust machine functions to meet the requirements of the sewing project.
Ideal Sewing Machinist Candidate:
Good attention to detail, excellent hand-eye coordination
Experience in working with targets
Previous Industrial Sewing Machine experience, within a factory environment
